10 Most Expensive Arlington Neighborhoods 2017

These areas had the priciest homes in the county last year.

It costs a lot to live in Northern Virginia, and some neighborhoods are more high-priced than others. We researched which parts of Arlington County commanded top dollar for homes sold in 2016. Our findings are drawn from a chart showing the average sales price and other real estate metrics in more than 300 area neighborhoods in the March/April 2017 issue of Arlington Magazine.

To be included, a neighborhood had to have had at least 15 total sales during the past five years.  The list excludes condo buildings.  Here are the Top 10.

#10 Broyhill Forest

Average Sale Price: $1,225,132

Residents of this family-friendly (and dog-friendly) enclave can enjoy the three-acre Broyhill Forest Park, which is within walking distance of Gulf Branch Nature Center. The neighborhood is two minutes away from Chain Bridge Road and a quick commute to the District.
